In the United States, SYSTRA has been a part of light rail design-build projects in Washington, DC and Minneapolis, MN and provided design and engineering of light rail transit systems in Sacramento and Los Angeles, CA, Boston, MA, Northern NJ, Pittsburgh, PA, Baltimore, MD, and Dallas, TX. In France, SYSTRA has worked on more than 60% of the light rail transit lines in use. The Bordeaux light rail transit system is the first in the world with no overhead power cables, and the transit systems in Brest and Casablanca were voted the two best light rail transit projects in the world by the British Light Rail Transit Association in 2012.
