Francisco received his Bachelor’s in Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Joined SYSTRA in 2018 to lead the U.S. architectural practice, Francisco is a strategic manager with great interest in transportation architecture, people mobility and sustainable design. His passion is rooted in building high-caliber project teams to deliver great projects. Over the years, Francisco has demonstrated a strong commitment to architectural design with hands-on knowledge of the design and construction process from project inception to construction.
A well-respected and transformational leader in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry, Francisco possesses proven experience in all phases of architectural design as it relates to transportation and public buildings. His representative award-winning projects include the New Jersey Transit Hudson-Bergen Light Rail where he was the Project Architectural Design Coordinator for 21 of the 24 stations, and the Newark Liberty International Airport/New Jersey Transit Station where he served as the Project Design Coordinator/Architectural Designer. His most recent experience includes MTA New York City Transit Enhanced Station Initiative (ESI) Program where he was the Design Managing Partner for the design-build of three subway stations in Brooklyn (Package 1) and three subway stations in the Bronx and Manhattan (Package 8).
As the Principal and President of SYSTRA A+E, Francisco is responsible for setting the vision, mission and strategic direction for the Company.
