SYSTRA exhibited at the World Congress & Trade Exhibition on High Speed Rail in Amsterdam March 17-19, 2008. Important to long distance passenger rail transportation and infrastructure, this event addressed the challenges related to developing high-speed rail systems. UIC HIGHSPEED 2008 is organized jointly by UIC (the world organization for railway cooperation), NS (Dutch Railways), NS Hispeed, and ProRail (Dutch Railway Infrastructure Manager).

These include the California High Speed Rail Project, High Speed 1 in the United Kingdom, Korea’s High-speed Train (KTX), the Taiwan high-speed line, Cordoba-Malaga high-speed line in Spain, Perpignan-Figueras high-speed rail link (a cross-border project between France and Spain), East European high-speed rail, Mediterranée TGV in France, and Tianxingzhou Bridge on the Guangzhou-Wuhan line in China.
